To give your Mac a Pastel Aesthetic look, describe it in DesignMyMac — for example “A soft pastel aesthetic desktop: lilac, peach and mint, rounded cute icons, bubbly widgets”. It researches the style, proposes three directions with a painted wallpaper and icon sample, and applies your choice to the wallpaper, app icons, folders, Dock, widgets and windows together. Every original is backed up and one click restores it.
Gelato Counter — painted by DesignMyMac from the prompt below.
You want a soft pastel desktop in lilac, peach and mint, with rounded cute icons and bubbly widgets. I'm offering three different scenes that all keep the pastel palette but lead with different layers.
Three directions DesignMyMac proposed
Direction A
Gelato Counter
A sweet shop display case: scoops, wafer cones and pastel enamel, playful and tasty.

Top-down gelato counter: round steel tubs of lilac, peach and mint gelato with soft swirls, wafer cones and tiny spoons, creamy off-white tile floor, empty space at center.
App icons & Dock

Windows
Native solid cream windows with a compact header and filled lilac selection.
A dreamy cloud bedroom made of paper stickers, light, collaged and handmade.
Grounded in: Kawaii paper sticker collage
Wallpaper
Lilac sky with torn-paper clouds in peach and mint, small star and heart stickers with white die-cut borders, a crescent moon, clear space in the middle.

Paper sticker icons with thick white die-cut outlines, rounded blob silhouettes and little smiling faces in lilac, peach and mint.
Folders
Peach manila folders covered in washi tape strips and a tiny cloud sticker on the front.
Widgets
Collage cards with taped corners: a quote, a month calendar, a checklist with heart bullets and a sky block for the moon phase. Handwritten font.
Windows
Editorial floating windows in pale lilac paper with an outline selection in lilac.
A tiny pastel pixel game: a cosy virtual pet room, cheerful and nostalgic.
Grounded in: Pastel pixel-art tamagotchi
Wallpaper
Pixel-art pet room in lilac and peach: checkered mint floor, a round window with clouds, a small bed, plants and a floating heart, big open wall area.
App icons & Dock
Chunky pixel enamel icons in soft rounded squares, mint, peach and lilac, each with a one-pixel highlight and a small pixel face.
Folders
Mint pixel folders with a chunky outline, a pixel heart on the tab and a lilac shadow.

Widgets — clocks, calendars, weather and more, designed to match.
